<bg_color>

The background color for a text banner or a title, represented by a hexadecimal code preceded by 0x.

To find the hexadecimal code for the color you want, use a color picker such as this one.

Child of: <text_banner name="">, <title>, <title_defaults>

Parent of: Nothing

Example:

<bg_color>0xDDDDDD</bg_color>

Working example: Search for <bg_color></bg_color> in the file trivia_demo.xml.

<bold>

Specifies whether the text on a button is bold or not.

Default: NO

Child of: <button>, <button_defaults>

Parent of: Nothing

<clear>

Clears the specified text banner from the screen.

Accepted values are YES and NO.

Child of: <text_banner name="">

Parent of: Nothing

<font>

A font name. Must be uppercase.

Child of: <button>, <button_defaults>, <dropdown>, <input>, <text_banner name="">, <title>, <title_defaults>

<font_size>

A font size in points.

Child of: <button>, <button_defaults>, <dropdown>, <input>, <text_banner name="">, <title>, <title_defaults>

Parent of: Nothing

<text>

The text for a button, input field or text banner.

HTML tags such as <b> (bold), <i> (italics) and underline <u> (underline) may be used within <text> tags defined within <input>, <text_banner name=""> and <title> tags but not those defined within <button> tags.

Child of: <button>, <input>, <text_banner name="">, <title>

Parent of: Nothing

<text_banner name="">

A text banner defined within the <text_banners> tag.

A text banner will remain on the screen until it is explicitly cleared by specifying YES in the <clear> tag (see <text_banners>).

Parent of: <clear>, <text>, <x>, <y>, <height>, <width>, <font>, <font_size>, <bg_color>, <text_color>

<text_banners>

Contains one or more <text_banner name=""> tags for displaying text on the screen.

Parent of: <text_banner name="">

<text_color>

The color of the text, represented by a hexadecimal code preceded by # (except when used within <button> or <button_default> tags, in which case the code must be preceded by 0x).

To find the hexadecimal code for the color you want, use a color picker such as this one.

Child of: <button>, <button_defaults>, <input>, <text_banner name="">, <title>, <title_defaults>

Parent of: Nothing

<title>

A title to display.

Titles, like buttons, are automatically cleared at each new node. Text that is to remain on the screen across multiple nodes should be defined in <text_banners>.

Only one title tag is allowed within a node tag. (Other title tags may be defined within other tags in a node, such as <mouse_click>. These will modify the title defined within <node>.)

<title> (drop-down)

The title for a drop-down list.

Child of: <dropdown>

Parent of: Nothing

Example:

<title_defaults>

Default settings for titles defined within nodes (not titles of drop-down lists).

Can be overridden as necessary.

Child of: <settings>

Parent of: <height>, <width>, <x>, <y>, <font_size>, <font>, <text_color>, <bg_color>

<font_size>12</font_size>

<font>Arial</font>

<text_color>#000000</text_color>

<word_wrap>

Allows text to be wrapped inside a button.

Accepted values are YES or NO.

Default: NO
